Columbus High School runs a block schedule. The Block schedule is a type of scheduling where students see four 90 minute periods in a day, with 10 minutes of passing time between classes. The first 90 minute period of the day is broken up into two 45 minute periods or “Skinnies.” Students experience only one daily schedule per quarter. Schedules change depending on the length of the class.
The class or bell schedule listed below also lists the different class schedules based on the type of day. Late start, early release days show the schedule in a more condensed form to get students to each class during the day. Activity schedules are run on Tuesdays. Homeroom schedules are run on various Thursdays when necessary.
