The volleyball season starts in the middle of August and concludes in the middle of October, except for the  Varsity team which could go to the end of October depending on WIAA tournament play. The Varsity team usually consists of twelve players and there is a Junior Varsity team for freshmen, sophomores, and junior students. Also, there is a first-year team for the freshmen or other first-year players not already on another team.
