What's Up For Summer?

6/1/11-all summer long Family Fun Packs! Community Learning Services is offering these fun packs for families to rent. Pick the Field Pack for Wiffle ball and kickball supplies, choose three of the CLS board games for the Rainy Day Pack, or choose three items for the Lawn Games pack, including Ladderball, Bocce, Bean Bag Toss, Horseshoes, Croquet and Volleyball/Badminton. More packs available all the timeólet us know if thereís something youíre looking for! Fun Packs are rented out for three days for $10 with an $5.00 deposit. You must be 18 or over to reserve a Fun Pack. To reserve your pack, call Katy or Lisa at (920) 623-6204 ext. 3923 Pick up is at Columbus Middle School.
6/1/11-all summer long Kayaks! Community Learning Services has inflatable kayaks available for rent. You must be 18 or over to rent a kayak. Students under 15 must be accompanied by a parent/responsible caregiver. Cost is $5.00 per day..Kayaks must be returned in clean and dry condition. All Summer Long-WPRA Tickets! Purchase Wisconsin Parks and Recreation Association attraction tickets from Columbus recreation at the Pool. Attractions include Chula Vista indoor and outdoor water parks, Noahís Ark, Pirateís Cove Adventure Golf, Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park, Milwaukee County Zoo, Wisconsin Ducks, Six Flags, Green Bay Packers Hall of Game. Purchase tickets from Megan or Loren. Elmore Lawson will demonstrate the Djembe drum and other percussions and teach the basics of drumming in a drum circle, including rhythms, chants, call and responses, and solo phrases. 7/5/11 Group Piano Lessons with Mrs. Hellpap! The summer piano sessions are on Tuesdays starting on July 5th through August 23rd. The lessons will last for 30 minutes. Chose from three 30 minute sessions, 1:00-1:30, 1:30-2:00, 2:00-2:30. Books are provided and the total cost is $8.00 a lesson totaling $64.00 for the summer. 8/4/11 Zoo to You! Create your own stuff-n-fluff zoo animal. Four-12 year olds will be stuffing monkeys, lions, and giraffes.
