Barry Rieck Drama Award

  • The Barry Rieck Drama Award is given to a student has been extremely active in drama during his/her four years of high school.

    It is named after the late Barry Rieck who received the award in 1989 and was killed in a car accident in November of 1990. Barry was very involved with drama at Columbus High School, participating in Mame (Iko) in 1986, Up the Down Staircase (Lou Martin), Anything Goes (Sir Evelyn) in 1988, and Heaven Can Wait (Joe Pendleton) in 1989.
