Open Enrollment has now ended as of 4pm on April 29, 2022
- Notices of approval or denial will be mailed on or before Friday, June 10, 2022 by the nonresident school district
Existing Open Enrolled students attending Columbus School District will not need to Open Enroll for the 22-23 school year. The previous approval continues from year to year, including the upcoming school year, as our policy does not require annual Open Enrollment applications.
Non-Resident students that would like to attend Columbus School District in the 22-23 school year, please proceed with the Open Enrollment process.
OPEN ENROLLMENT APPLICATION PERIOD
February 7 through April 29, 2022
Applications may be obtained from the Department of Public Instruction; or apply on-line.

Parents/guardians will receive notices of approval/denial during the second week of June. Please respond to approval notices with your Intent to Attend for each student by June 24th. Once the District receives confirmation that your student(s) will attend, enrollments will be created and your student's records will be requested from their previous school.
ALTERNATIVE OPEN ENROLLMENT APPLICATION
Alternative Open Enrollment applications will be available on July 1st
Once the form is completed, it must be submitted to the school district to which you are applying.
