Each student is an individual, so the appropriate amounts and types of services must be developed to promote that particular student's academic, social, and personal growth. This is a fine balance. If too few services are provided, students become frustrated; too many, and students do not learn to work through challenges and develop independence. Parents, professionals, and students work together as a team to determine the mix of instruction, services, accommodations, and modifications, supports and independence to be develop each child's potential. As a smaller School District, Columbus offers a unique blend of personal attention and innovative programs to meet student needs. The Special Education Office is located at 200 West School Street, Columbus, Wisconsin, 53925. If you need additional information, please contact our department at (920) 623-5950 and we will be pleased to assist you further.
