Election Details
An election is to be held in the Columbus School District, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.
Office Incumbent
School Board Member Corey Ohlson-Rappe
School Board Member John Pearson
Office Terms
The term of office for school board member is three years, beginning on Monday, April 27, 2026, and expiring on April 22, 2029. A description of the school district boundaries can be obtained from the school district office.
For Candidates
A Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy must be filed no later than 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in the office of the school district clerk. All such declarations must be filed with Andrea Lendborg, Deputy Clerk of the School district, at the office of the Superintendent of Schools, 200 West School Street, Columbus, Wisconsin. Incumbent notice for non-candidacy must be filed in the District Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 26, 2025.
Primary Election
If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Additional Information
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
