Greetings and welcome to the Columbus Elementary School website. Serving students from 4K to 5th grade and their families, Columbus Elementary School is committed to taking a holistic approach to education.

The staff at Columbus Elementary values individual student differences and the uniqueness of every child, striving to instill in all students a love of learning. This commitment is evidenced through our continuing efforts to develop and deliver a challenging curriculum that teaches students how to learn, how to apply learning, how to become problem-solvers, how to be creative and self-disciplined.

We seek to develop in our students a sense of community and deepening responsibility to and for the world's people and places. We place significant emphasis on the C.A.R.E.S. model which instills the importance of Cooperation, Assertian, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-control, Behavior.

Columbus Elementary is a relaxed, friendly and safe place, and we recognize and respect different learning styles and are united in our commitment to reaching each child.
